Wheelchairs Welcome!
The original Great Bay 5K | Race for a Healthy Estuary course is a mostly downhill course and is easily accessible for racers in wheelchairs or for those who would like to push wheelchairs. The entire campus of the Great Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve is handicap accessible.
Qualifier
The race is part of the Seacoast Road Race Series. The Great Bay 5K | Race for a Healthy Estuary is the last of the Seacoast Road Race series. Runners completing 5 of the 7 races in the series earn a unique Seacoast Series tech shirt for their accomplishment. And all of the races in the series benefit one or more charitable organizations from southern Maine to northern Massachusetts.
