The wicked-fast Great Bay 5K | Race for a Healthy Estuary is among the fastest course in New England and may be the FASTEST. Talk to any local runner and most likely they will say that their PR was run on this course. It starts on Sandy Point Road, across Route 33 from Stratham Hill Park (270 Portsmouth Avenue, Stratham, NH), and finishes at the Great Bay Discovery Center at 89 Depot Road, Greenland. It is a fast, mostly downhill course on rural/residential roads, with terrific views of Great Bay in the final mile. There will be a water stop at the 1.5 mile marker. The course is USA Track & Field Certified Course NH18007BK and it’s wicked fast!
